INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp. lard
- 1 med. size onion, chopped
- 1 chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 tbsp. flour mixed with a little water
- 1 c. cream
- 2 heaping tsp. paprika
DIRECTIONS
- Simmer onion in lard until clear; add paprika.
- Add cut up chicken. Simmer slowly and salt, to taste.
- Let simmer until chicken is tender. Add water as necessary.
- Add 1 tablespoon flour mixed in water and cream. Cook until sauce thickens.
- Add more flour if you like a thick sauce. Serve with dumplings (Galuska).
