INGREDIENTS
- 2 lb. chicken (pieces or cubed)
- 1 lge. onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/3 c. soya sauce
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. cooking wine or sherry
DIRECTIONS
- Brown chicken cubes in pot with crushed garlic clove.
- Chop onion in lengthwise strips; add to chicken.
- Mix sauce and pour over chicken. Let simmer until chicken is cooked.
Nice served with rice. YIELD: Four to six servings.
