INGREDIENTS
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/4 c. sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
- Mix together water and butter; heat to boiling.
- Remove from heat and add flour mixture all at once. Stir vigorously.
- Cook until mixture forms a mass and leaves sides of bowl. Cool 5 minutes.
- Add eggs, beating after each addition.
- Drop in mounds about the size of an egg on well greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 425 degrees F. for 15 minutes, then at 375 degrees F. for 25 minutes or until golden.
- Whip cream, adding sugar.
- Fill puffs with sweetened whipped cream.
