INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 1/4 c. sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
  2. Mix together water and butter; heat to boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and add flour mixture all at once. Stir vigorously.
  4. Cook until mixture forms a mass and leaves sides of bowl. Cool 5 minutes.
  5. Add eggs, beating after each addition.
  6. Drop in mounds about the size of an egg on well greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 15 minutes, then at 375 degrees F. for 25 minutes or until golden.
  8. Whip cream, adding sugar.
  9. Fill puffs with sweetened whipped cream.
