INGREDIENTS
- 1 - 19 oz. can fruit cocktail
- 1-1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Topping:
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
DIRECTIONS
- Drain fruit cocktail and save juice.
- Mix dry ingredients, beaten egg and juice of fruit cocktail.
- Mix in the fruit and pour into greased pan.
- Mix brown sugar and chopped nuts; sprinkle on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 to 45 minutes.
Serve with lemon sauce or whipped cream.
