INGREDIENTS

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c. sifted icing sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. In heavy saucepan, mix brown sugar and cocoa with cream. Bring to a boil.
  2. Cook 5 minutes. Add vanilla, then beat in icing sugar.
  3. Put immediately into paper lined pan. Cut in squares.

Variations: Omit cocoa and add 1/2 cup walnuts and 1/4 teaspoon maple flavouring for maple cream fudge.
