INGREDIENTS
- 2 c. chokecherries (very ripe)
- 1-1/2 c. sugar
- 20 oz. vodka or gin
DIRECTIONS
- Wash fruit and a 40 ounce bottle.
- Place berries and vodka into bottle. Seal tightly.
- Let stand for 30 days in warm place. Tip the bottle every day until the sugar dissolves.
- Let stand 30 more days. Strain several times and rebottle.
