INGREDIENTS

  • 2 c. chokecherries (very ripe)
  • 1-1/2 c. sugar
  • 20 oz. vodka or gin

DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash fruit and a 40 ounce bottle.
  2. Place berries and vodka into bottle. Seal tightly.
  3. Let stand for 30 days in warm place. Tip the bottle every day until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Let stand 30 more days. Strain several times and rebottle.
