INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp. yeast
  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oil (butter or margarine)
  • 6 c. lukewarm water
  • 15 - 20 c. flour
  • 2 tbsp. salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix first 3 ingredients in a cup; let rise 10 minutes.
  2. Mix with remaining ingredients. Add flour, a few cups at a time. Mix together to form a soft dough.
  3. Let rise for 1 hour, punch down then let rise for another hour.
  4. Put in pans and let rise until light.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees F.
